The Saramonic LavMicro U1B is a lavalier microphone that lets you record clear digital speech directly to the lightning port of your iPhone or iOS device for podcasts, YouTube videos, interviews, and more.
The microphone feature an omnidirectional pickup pattern that captures sound from every direction, allowing for freedom of movement—even when the subject turns away from the mic. The included alligator-style mic clip holds the mic firmly in place on clothing.
The 19.6' cable provides extra length for standing at an optimal distance in front of your camera. The cable is made of two sections: a first section with the lav mic at one end and a 3.5mm TRS female connector at the other, and a second section with a 3.5mm TRS male connector at one end and an MFi Certified Lightning connector at the other. The second section can be used to connect either the lav mic or any audio device with a 3.5mm TRS output (including wireless receivers and media players) to your iPhone or iPad.
The mic is powered via your iOS device so you don't have to remember to change the battery. A foam windscreen is provided to protect against wind noise.
